Stamford
On Monday, November 20, the Operations Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. and receive an update on the work being done at the West Main Street Bridge. Check out our piece on some of the history of the bridge.

Norwalk
There will be a Planning & Zoning Commission Special Meeting on Tuesday, November 21 at 6 p.m., which will feature a preview of the commission’s recommended changes to the city’s zoning code ahead of the December hearings.

Fairfield
The Board of Finance will meet on Tuesday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m. to conduct its quarterly review, including an update from the CFO on Capital and ARPA projects, as well as reviewing the recommendation on how to spend last year’s surplus.

Greenwich
The Active Transportation Task Force will meet on Monday, November 20 at 9 a.m. and receive an update on what’s next for the Greenwich–Stamford multi-use path and what the task force needs to prepare ahead of the Representative Town Meeting hearings on it.
On Tuesday, November 21, the Central Middle School Building Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. and receive a report from the construction team on the project timeline and milestones.

Darien
Both the Board of Selectmen—on Monday, November 20 at 7 p.m.—and the Board of Finance on Tuesday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m.— will discuss “acquiring property rights regarding Great Island.” Learn more about the island that Darien purchased earlier this year.

Westport
On Monday, November 20, there will be a swearing in ceremony for newly elected officials at 7:30 p.m.
