Happy Monday! We had a great week away so there’s no new reporting this week, but we’re diving back into one of our top stories and have a look at this week’s most important meetings.

This section gives a brief overview of the key items in the newsletter.

Spotlight

This section features our main reporting each week.

As the weather warms up, more and more people are heading to Connecticut’s beaches. But how do you know if the water is safe—both for you and for the ecosystems that live in and along the Long Island Sound? Dive back into a piece of ours from July 2022 that takes you behind the scenes of the water quality monitoring efforts taking place along the Sound. You can also check out our video which shows you how water samples are collected and tested.
