Monday, November 3

Happy Monday! And happy first week of November. It’s a busy week around the region, with Election Day this Tuesday, so let’s see what’s happening.

Highlights

This section gives a brief overview of the key items in the newsletter.

  • Tuesday is Election Day. See below for some resources to help you as you head to the polls.
  • Residents are invited to attend a Greenwich-Stamford Multi-Use Trail Public Information Meeting on Thursday, November 6 at 6 p.m. in Greenwich. The meeting will present four potential trail routes that would connect Binney Park in Old Greenwich to Boccuzzi Park in Stamford. According to officials, the goal of the project is to create a safe, accessible, and scenic multi-use path that encourages walking, bicycling, and outdoor recreation while improving connectivity between parks, schools, business districts, and train stations.
  • ICYMI: Last week we reported on how a new grocery store could expand food access in East Norwalk, while residents across the region could see reduced food access due to cuts to the SNAP program.
