We hope you all have a happy holiday season and happy new year! See you in 2025. (Photo by Kelly Prinz)

Monday, December 23

Happy Monday! As mentioned in last week’s edition of The What, that was our last full issue for the next few weeks. We’re adding to our family and our son is due any day now. We’re super excited for this new chapter in our lives, but we know it’s going to be a massive change, which is why we’re stepping away for a few weeks as we welcome him home.

However, we also want to make sure we continue to serve you, our amazing audience, including a few new members we’ve gotten over the last few weeks.

And as a part of our mission and vision, most of our reporting focuses on issues, challenges, and solutions that are ongoing. So we’re going to be releasing some special edition newsletters over the next few weeks highlighting some of these big picture topics facing southwest Connecticut.

You won’t see a newsletter in your inbox next week—we figured you’re all away enjoying the holidays!—but starting January 6, you’ll start getting our special edition newsletters each week. We’d love for you to share them with family and friends who might not be on our list and who might not have seen our previous reporting. Then when we're back in a few weeks, we’ll hit the ground running with some new reporting on issues that matter to you.

Thank you all so much for an amazing 2024 and we’ll see you in a few weeks in 2025.
